I pay homage to my Ukrainian heritage and European ancestry with this piece. Ukraine has been at war with Russia since February 2022. Ukrainian-Canadian entrepreneur Lindy Ledohowski, based in Ottawa, acquired this piece, and $1000 CAN were donated by myself to the Red Cross through a program where donations were matched by the Canadian Government.
