In this series, I'm exploring the feeling of escapism and solitude, as well as the boundaries of the transcendental - knowledge that goes beyond sensory experience, beyond the bounds of space and time. This painting was inspired by props of the volcanic mountains that I built in film production while working for a commercial filmed in Kyiv. Black alien volcanic mountain structure fired my imagination that crispy cold January day.
