"Rainy Day Pond" was painted at the start of my "Seeing High Park in Plein Air" project. In early May there were dreary, rainy days back to back. When there was a break in the rain I ventured out to High Park and captured this piece. A small pond with an even smaller island coming to life in early Spring.
