Sasha Q
Meet Oleksandra Stepanenko, a Kyiv-born Toronto-based artist working under the artist name Sasha Q. Her art is an extension of her consciousness, an endless source of exploration of its mysterious nature, and a place of travel. She plays with the perception of the beholder and her creations work both ways, calming some and stimulating others. Her art practice serves as psychoanalytic meditation where she reflects on fundamental things and exploring boundaries of transcendental - knowledge that goes beyond sensory experience, beyond the bounds of space and time.
